POSITION AUTOMATION

Manage open trades

These rules manage RiskGuard, manual, and robot trades. New external positions without a stop get a 60-second grace period. If a valid stop is set within the account risk limit, normal 2R and management rules apply. Otherwise, the system attempts a protective stop capped at 0.1% of balance and closes the trade as soon as it is profitable. Invalid risk data leaves SL/TP unchanged and is recorded in the journal. Positions already open when automation is enabled are left unchanged.

Run the ten explainable strategies or a chronological backtest on a sample CSV, your own CSV, or read-only candles from a connected MT5 account. Backtests show each selected strategy separately alongside the combined signal and save results in SQLite. MT5 candle spreads are used when available; slippage, commission, and fixed fallback spread are simulation assumptions from trading_analysis_engine/configs/default.json. Bundled sample data is synthetic and says nothing about real-market profitability.
